CH.89: If you were to categorize or describe the style of your artwork, what would it be and why?

YM: Abstract, sometimes conceptual.

CH.89: Where do you draw your inspiration from?

YM: Not always of the same form. Most of the time of emotions, and situations that happen to me at the moment.

CH.89: Can you talk a little bit about what your creative thought process is like when starting a new project/ piece of artwork?

YM: It is the most difficult for me, it is hard to lower the information from my head to the canvas. If I have an idea I work a lot in my mind, I think why those forms?, for what?, what do I want to tell.

YM: Then the colors is the fluid part, I think of them while I’m painting.

YM: I would like them to understand that the concept that always works is the union.

CH.89: Can you talk a little bit about your lifestyle as an artist and what that is like?

YM: You have many moments of uncertainties. But I like the power of expressing myself in a free way. Sometimes I do work that I do not like a lot, but since I travel so much, it is necessary haha.

CH.89: When starting out an artistic task, do you think it is better to have a particular direction/set plan guiding your way? Or, is it better to act on impulse and go from there?

YM: Every person finds their best direction. It is very personal the way you take. And anything is valid.

YM: Few certainty

CH.89: Is there anyone in particular, any artist’s that inspire you in any way?

YM: I don’t know if someone in particular inspires me but the Russian construct was always present in my mind and taste of art.

CH.89: What do you think of technology in terms of being a useful tool for artists today?

YM: You have to use it, I say it but it is difficult to apply it haha

CH.89: Do you think being an artist allows you to view the world differently from those who don’t follow creative paths?

YM: I don’t know if it allows you to see in a different way, but yes to observe in a different way.

CH.89: Do you enjoy traveling? If so, do you have a favorite city?
